Previous incidents

On Thursday, 7/13/2023, from 4:45 AM to 9:00 PM, our upstream Internet provider Lumen suffered a major, sustained outage. The outage disabled Internet access for hundreds of companies from Los Angeles up through Santa Maria.

Early in the outage -- by 10AM -- Lumen determined that the cause of the outage was a failed interface card in a core router in one of its downtown Los Angeles data centers. Unfortunately, due to a supply chain oversight, there was no spare card in stock at that data ...

It should be back online by 5PM PDT.
